The Key West End of Prohibition Celebration had live cocktail mixology presentations with free tastings. There were also recorded mixology sessions that played throughout the event on the large SloppyTron behind the main stage.
At 5:33 p.m. on December 5th, the emcee interrupted the band to announce the breaking news that Prohibition had been appealed. A paperboy delivered newspapers to attendees.
